On the 16th, The Black Label officially announced the debut of Miyao. As the company, under the leadership of Teddy, had been dropping hints about the upcoming launch of a new girl group, they have now confirmed that Miyao will be debuting in the second half of this year and have already started promoting her extensively.
In February, there was a leak of a photo featuring The Black Label’s trainees, which sparked a lot of attention. Among the trainees featured in the photo were Moon Seo-yoon, the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group’s chairwoman Lee Myung-hee, as well as American child actress and model Ella Gross, known as “Little Jennie,”and renowned dancer Bailey Sok. This only added to the speculation that they may be part of the upcoming girl group debut.
Despite initial reports, it was ultimately announced in an exclusive report by Xports News that Moon Seo-yoon did not secure a spot in the final debut lineup.
On the 16th, The Black Label launched Miyao’s official SNS and announced that they will be revealing the member lineup and debut album format gradually. This revelation has sparked curiosity about the involvement of Ella Gross, Bailey Sok, and the other members from the previously leaked photo in the group.
On the 15th, an online community shared a post titled “Inside Scoop on Teddy’s Upcoming Girl Group.”According to the author, the group will consist of five members and the photo of the members was purposely leaked by The Black Label earlier this year. However, many speculated trainees have since been eliminated. The post also revealed that member Miyao will debut before any members of Iz*One and promotions will begin soon. The author also stated that neither Ella nor Bailey will be part of the group, causing much excitement and anticipation for Miyao’s debut.
The speculation surrounding Miyao has grown even more intense as people question whether the leaked photo confirms the addition of new members to the group in place of Ella Gross and Bailey Sok, or if the individuals in the photo will ultimately be the official members of the girl group.
