Shiny Debut of Oranguru & Passimian: Pokemon Go Research Day Wild Encounters

Niantic has revealed that the upcoming Pokémon Go Research Day event will spotlight Oranguru and Passimian.

Currently, Pokémon Go is bustling with activity due to the ongoing Max Out season, which has introduced new features like Dynamax along with a wider array of Pokémon from the Galar region.

The Research Day event focused on Oranguru and Passimian will also feature other primate-inspired Pokémon, including several fan-favorite starters.

Here’s all the essential information regarding the Oranguru and Passimian Research Day.

Date & Time

The Research Day event will occur on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.

Shiny Passimian Debut

This event will mark the debut of Passimian’s Shiny form in Pokémon Go.

While Oranguru’s Shiny has been available since Pokémon Go Fest 2023, Passimian was only introduced during the 2023 World Championships Celebration event.

This means that both featured Pokémon have a chance to be Shiny during this event.
