Feeling upset, she tried to contact Jogoro, only to find out that he had forgotten his phone in the school lockers. Apologizing, he went back to retrieve it and discovered the broken vase. When he returned to Yuki, he hypothesized that someone had deliberately set it up to have an excuse to use a cheat note that was stuck to their desk.
At that moment, a cup was accidentally dropped and broken by a worker at the cafe, causing a sudden and loud noise that Jogoro immediately noticed as attention-grabbing. While walking back home, Yuki saw Sakagami and her old bicycle, making her want to chase after him but she soon realized he was on the opposite side of the road.
Yuki received another summons to the Counselor’s Office, this time due to a complaint from someone who had run over her bike with their car. She and Jogoro discovered the damaged bike on the side of the road. Yuki couldn’t help but feel sorry for the person who filed the complaint and placed the blame on Sakagami.
From Sakagami’s point of view, Jogoro concluded that he had taken Yuki’s bike and rode it to catch up to a bus. The bus belonged to a driving school nearby, where Sakagami was likely enrolled to obtain his motorcycle license.
Despite her normally calm demeanor, Yuki’s vengeful side is revealed as she expresses her desire to seek retribution against Sakagami for stealing and damaging her bike and for being summoned to the Counselor’s office. In an effort to protect her, Jogoro enlists Kengo to act as Yuki’s bodyguard in case she decides to retaliate against Sakagami. The episode concludes with Jogoro on the verge of explaining the reasoning behind Yuki’s and his own desire to “become ordinary”.
