Shoshimin season 2 continues the television anime adaptation of author Honobu Yonezawa’s original mystery novel series. The first novel launched in December 2004, and the series includes a total of six entries. Directed by Mamoru Kanbe at Lapin Track, with Toshiya Ono overseeing series scripts, character designs by Atsushi Saito, and music composed by Takahiro Obata, the anime promises to retain its captivating narrative.

The storyline follows Jogoro Kobato, who seeks a quiet, ordinary life after enduring a painful experience. He ultimately meets Yuki Osanai, and together they aim for a peaceful existence as high school classmates. However, their aspirations for normalcy are persistently disturbed by a series of mysteries and challenges.
