Sinnoh Circuit issues enrage Pokémon Go players

Pokémon Go players have criticized Niantic for “unresolved” issues at Sinnoh Circuit in Los Angeles that have not been rectified in any form of compensation.

Pokémon Go players who participated in the Los Angeles portion of the Sinnoh Circuit concluded their appearance at the Rose Bowl on February 18, 2024.

Unfortunately, this paid portion of the event wasn’t the best experience for some players, as Niantic issued an apology and extended the duration for Saturday, February 17.

Even after the event’s conclusion, some players criticized Niantic again after claiming that some issues remained “unresolved”at the end of the Los Angeles event.

Pokémon Go Players Highlight “Unresolved” Sinnoh Circuit Issues

A post on the Pokémon Go subreddit titled, “List of Sinnoh Circuit LA Unresolved Issues” exposed issues that Niantic has yet to publicly address.

According to the post’s author, these unresolved issues included the fact that early Raiders did not receive bonus XL candies, Saturday players did not get bonus research on Rotom, and Routes were disabled on SATURDAY.

Although some of these issues were rectified the day after the event, the author of the post claimed that no compensation or acknowledgment was offered for these issues.

Considering that the Los Angeles event was a ticketed, ticketed event, it’s no wonder that players felt strongly about these issues. Many trainers made their dissatisfaction clear in the comments.

“As someone who only purchased a one-day ticket in person and without city additions, I’m furious that I didn’t have the chance to get a Basculin Blanc given that there was no of roads at the stadium or on the golf course,” said one ticket holder.

Some fans even pointed out that some issues were worse than the post’s author claimed. “The Routes were also disabled at the Rose Bowl on Sunday,” one trainer said. Another confirmed this was the case.

It’s unclear whether Niantic will ultimately acknowledge these issues or offer compensation. Given that it’s been a while since the event’s conclusion, this seems unlikely.
