Hana, the older sister of TWICE member Momo, is also a dancer in Japan. In a candid confession, she revealed the challenges she has experienced as a family member of a celebrity.
On April 16, during a broadcast on Fuji TV, Hana shared that she is often compared to her sister Momo by others.
“Hana expressed that she often receives comparisons to her sister, who is an idol. Despite this, Hana also enjoys dancing. However, she has noticed that people often compare their appearances, causing her confidence to decline.”
According to Hana, there are often instances where she is compared to her sister in terms of appearance due to Momo’s better style, taller height, and slimmer figure.
Furthermore, Hana shocked those present at the scene when she disclosed that she frequently receives comments such as, “You and your sister look completely different. It would benefit you to undergo plastic surgery.”
Hana typically shares photos of herself and her sister Momo on her social media platform. This has resulted in netizens frequently comparing their appearances and making comments that appear to diminish Hana’s self-image, ultimately impacting her self-confidence.
In the meantime, Hana, the older sister of TWICE’s Momo and a dancer, was born in 1994 and began studying dance at the age of 4. It has been reported that during her sixth grade year of elementary school, she became a member of a dance group with her sister and started taking dance seriously. She is now also heavily involved in choreography.
