Skull and Bones players are convinced the game will be ruined if the developers don’t fix a major issue before the official release.
After a series of delays, Skull and Bones is finally here – but some players were able to play the game early, thanks to pre-orders and the benefits of the Premium Edition. However, it only took a few days for much of the community to realize that the game would be ruined if the developers left Rogue ship spawns unfixed as part of the end-game content before release.
While some players have suggested solutions to this problem, others believe it would lead to heavy frustrations, leaving low-level players distressed and perhaps alienating them from the game in general.
Players want developers to “fix Rogue spawns before Mega Grievance happens”
On Reddit, a user started a discussion where he said that Skull and Bones would be “a bloodbath if you match new players with higher level players.”»
Hey Devs. You have 2 days to fix rogue spawns before mega greif happens. byu/kuenamon inSkullAndBonesGame
The player was doing delivery quests when he found spawns of level 10 Rogues waiting just outside the starting port as they were about to depart: “What if I stand here and watch this new face pass without any knowledge of what is going to happen? Yep. You can 100% abuse this. Fix the spawns, guys. And quick.»
“Fixing the chat should 100% make this stuff better,” others said, joining in to express their anger and frustration. “A little cat nearby could make this game great, good point!»
Some players have suggested a simple fix to the game’s AI where Ubisoft could tweak it a bit so that it ignores “anyone not doing the quest unless that player attacks first.”» This would allow players of relatively lower levels to pass without being attacked by the heavyweights.
A certain group of players found this problem repeated when doing the “Afterlife”quest where they were not able to “interact with the facility because there is an army of rogues and Fara there.”» “Fought for 30 mins with other random players… but the spawn rate makes this impossible” they continued.
On the other hand, some players believe that separating “level lobbies from Kingpin lobbies”would work better because “it could help make end-game content more engaging by making sure everyone is a Kingpin and able to participate in world events while keeping level lobbies safe from Rogue harassment and unbeatable world events.»
