Small Twitch Streamer’s Surprising Earnings Under 300 Viewers

Have you considered streaming on Twitch, but hesitated due to uncertainty about its value? A small streamer has shared his earnings from the platform, which may cause you to reconsider joining the website.

Despite the wide range of content on Twitch, from gaming to real-life adventures and even boxing matches, the platform is home to countless creators.

If a person streams regularly and is accepted into the Twitch Partner program, they have the opportunity to earn additional income through the platform’s ad revenue share.

Despite the fact that their income has been revealed in the past, bigger streamers such as Ninja, xQc, NICKMERCS, Asmongold, and Tyler1 have earned millions. However, it has also been proven that smaller creators can also earn a decent amount of money.

On August 12, while watching a video, Twitch streamer ‘Garek’ learned that ex-COD pro Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte was earning approximately $20,000 per month due to the high number of ads he ran.

“Garek was surprised to learn that the individual ran approximately ten minutes of ads per hour. He couldn’t understand how one could be comfortable with running that amount of ads, almost fifteen minutes per hour. He acknowledged that for many people, ads make up a significant portion of their income.”

Feeling disgusted, Garek made the decision to reveal his own income, revealing that he had earned $4,267 in the previous pay period, with approximately $1,300 of that coming from advertisements.

“$4000 may not seem like a small amount, as it is considered an average income. I generate around $1300 per month from advertisements. My earnings are similar to that of a starting salary at a business. It may not be a large sum, but it is a respectable amount. While I do run five minutes of ads each hour, I have personal standards and morals and do not aggressively push them onto others.”

TwitchTracker, a stat-tracking website, reports that Garek’s streams have an average of 231 viewers.

Despite this, he has amassed a following of 56.7K and has been streaming since 2017, allowing him ample time to build his brand and generate enough income to sustain himself.

While it may not be as much money as popular streamers like xQc or FaZe Lacy earn, it serves as a valuable point of reference for those considering entering the streaming industry.
