SM’s First Virtual Artist Nævis Unveils High-Quality Visuals… Debuting in September

The official channel recently released a content titled “The Birth of nævis.”

This video showcases the beginning of nævis’s story, as she makes the transition from the digital world (Wilderness) to the physical world. It provides a vivid depiction of nævis’s transformation from a digital entity to a tangible being. Viewers can enjoy an enhanced immersive experience by watching the Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos versions, which are both available on the LG U+ IPTV service U+tv.

The video not only showcases nævis’s potential as an artist, but also teases a vast IP universe that incorporates a compelling overarching storyline across both the physical and virtual realms (Wilderness). There is much excitement surrounding her upcoming debut in September and the subsequent launch of her projects.

Nævis, who was introduced by the SM Virtual IP Center, played the role of an ally to the four members of aespa in their fictional world. She had already made an appearance in aespa’s third mini-album track “Welcome To MY World”and made a lasting impact with her performance at the group’s second solo concert, “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE -.”

Aside from being portrayed realistically through Giantstep’s advanced VFX technology, nævis will also be featured in various forms such as cartoon-style and casual 3D, making it adaptable to a variety of platforms. The team has plans to further develop the IP universe by incorporating music, webtoons, games, merchandise, and brand partnerships. Additionally, nævis’ voice will be incorporated using AI voice technology and content will be created through generative AI.
