Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 14 Preview Features the Fifth Shinju’s Arrival
On September 18, the Naruto franchise’s official site unveiled a preview illustration for the upcoming Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 14. Readers can expect its release on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Shueisha’s V Jump’s special November issue.
In the previous chapter, Jura was on the verge of ending Boruto’s life. However, Mamushi, emerging from Jura’s body, informed him of Matsuri’s return. During her investigation, Matsuri discovered that Boruto had an accomplice. Aware of their formidable enemies’ strength, Jura decided to return to the Shinju hideout and assist Hidari in recovering before his Thorn Soul Bulb spoiled.
Following Hidari’s recovery, Matsuri sought Jura’s permission to harvest another Thorn Soul Bulb. Subsequently, the remaining four Shinju eagerly awaited the emergence of the fifth Shinju, which aligns with the themes of the manga’s second sneak peek.
The new Shinju is depicted emerging from a black box, with the other four Shinju looking on. As the new Shinju awakens, Jura communicates with him.
The translation of Jura’s words by Google Translate reads:
“Have you woken up? How are you feeling? Ryu”
This translation strongly suggests that the new Divine Tree may be named Ryu. However, this does not definitively reveal the Shinju’s true identity. The translation also hints at the term “grain,”leading many fans to speculate that this may relate to “grains of sand,”possibly linking the new Shinju to Shinki, Gaara’s son. Still, the manga has yet to confirm this theory.
