SNL Korea’s parody of LE SSERAFIM’s Coachella performance and the controversy surrounding ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Jiwoong has gained significant attention from K-Media. The parody has resulted in mixed reactions within the K-pop community.
On September 9, Xports News reported that “SNL Korea Season 6″featured a parody involving some K-pop artists.
Host Kim Seong Kyun portrayed an idol from a fictional group named Kyun K, reenacting LE SSERAFIM’s heavily critiqued performance at Coachella in April.
Korea’s SNL has always been like this, they lack ideas, so they just pick up anything to make fun of even when a minor is suffering from death threats and has to close comments https://t.co/R5dJnhC03x

The host also reenacted a controversial moment involving ZEROBASEONE member Kim Jiwoong from a fancall in February, where the idol was allegedly heard using a Korean swear word “shib*l”after the call ended. This incident sparked backlash directed at the idol, alongside WAKEONE’s efforts to address the claims.
