Hyoyeon appeared on a YouTube show where she sought the advice of a physiognomist to see if her ideal type aligns with her fortune and suitable personality.
On July 17, the SNSD member shared a new video on her YouTube channel, Hyo’s Level Up, titled “How to determine your identity by examining your facial features.”
On that particular day, she participated in the “Half-Day Class”segment and had the opportunity to meet with renowned physiognomist and Director Park Sungjoon. During the session, she openly shared her belief in destiny and subsequently invited Park to conduct a fortune-reading session using facial features and astrology.
During their conversation, Hyoyeon expressed particular interest in his ideal type among the various topics they discussed. She stated:
“As for my ideal partner, I’m curious about what kind of face would suit me.”
When questioned about her personal preference first, she answered:
“Since my personality fluctuates, I prefer someone calm and steady, serious and composed. I like a square-shaped face on top and I personally like someone with a short chin. I also get a bit angry, so it would be good if it’s someone who can handle me well. If they are someone with high tension like me, it would be difficult.”
Upon hearing this, Park proceeded to discuss the type of man that would be a good match for her, elaborating:
“As you mentioned, since you have your ups and downs, the most important thing is stability. Someone who makes you feel comfortable. So even when you call them around 10 p.m. and if they don’t answer, you won’t speculate that they are out partying or something. You just think they’re sleeping. You know, someone who makes you feel at ease. Such a person is good, otherwise, you will feel very anxious.”
Hyoyeon was warned by Park to be cautious of men with circular and frog-like features as they may not be trustworthy.
In regards to age, fortune-teller Sungjoon stated:
“There’s no chance that he’s younger or the same age, he’s only older.”
Hyoyeon inquired:
“What if he’s not?”
Park didn’t dismiss the possibility and went on to say:
“There’s almost a chance. Statistically. But rather than someone who has desires and dreams, I think it’s important to meet someone who you can be comfortable with in a simple way.”
During that moment, Hyoyeon faced the camera and caused everyone to burst into laughter by engaging in the world’s first blind date through comments, saying:
“You heard that. If you’re like that, please leave a comment.”
Sungjoon proceeded to praise Hyo, portraying her as a person with admirable qualities:
“Hyoyeon likes to be polite. She can’t stand rude people and has a hard time when they act rudely. But she also has a kind side.
She has a tendency to listen well and sympathize with others, and she adapts well to them. She cannot ignore other people’s sad or painful situations and has a tendency to adapt well to them. And when she hears such stories, her heart aches.”
