Amidst this “civil war,”a project from 14 years ago has resurfaced and gone viral. It is the photo book “Girls in Tokyo”by SNSD, which was released in June 2010 and consists of 354 pages of photos accompanied by a 1-hour DVD. The concept of the book is simple, capturing the group’s moments of play and cycling on the beach in casual outfits. The photos exude a comfortable and gentle vibe, reflecting their youthful energy.
NewJeans recently released the music video for their song “Bubble Gum”which features a soothing and healing melody. The video captures the members engaging in daily activities and playing on the beach, reminiscent of SNSD’s photo book. This further solidifies Min Hee Jin’s dedication to the school youth concept which she has been pursuing for the past 14 years.
