The controversy centers around the expectations of Hall’s performance under pressure. Although he did cast a Blizzard spell, it was the high-level version, which consumes significant mana, rather than the more efficient low-level variant that would have sufficed to slow the enemies. Additionally, he neglected to utilize other crowd control abilities, such as Frost Nova or Cone of Cold, which could have mitigated the damage and kept the boss as the sole threat.
