As Jinwoo says at the end of episode 5, “a C-rank boss, an E-rank hunter, the difference in level is obvious.” The situation is indeed critical: while the team that had recruited them for a simple portal expedition has trapped them, Jinwoo and Jinhoo find themselves alone facing the spider boss.
Jinwoo has certainly evolved since the tragedy of the double-dungeon statue, several problems arise: first, the C-rank boss is a colossus determined to tear the two little hunters to shreds. Then, even if he escapes, how can we explain to Jinhoo or the lizards that an E rank is capable of getting rid of such a monster?

Solo Leveling Episode 6 Release Date and Time
Episode 6 of Solo Leveling will be released on Saturday, February 10 on Crunchyroll. Entitled “The Real Hunt Begins” (or “Let the real hunt begin” in French), it will be available from 6:30 p.m. in France.

Jinwoo rushes towards the spider boss, ordering a terrified Jinhoo to stay back. Able to compete with the monster, he impresses his comrade, who begins to ask questions: what if Jinwoo was a “rank fraudster”?

We learn that the fraudsters in question enjoy minimizing their power when evaluating ranks, thus appearing weaker than they are. Their reputation is very bad, because this strategy generally serves only one purpose: to assassinate the lowest ranks with whom they go on expeditions into the portals.
For his part, Jinwoo analyzes his enemy while fighting him: the hunter may have improved, but he is tiring. He then remembers that he has not yet accepted the rewards of his daily quest, and asks for more energy. He is then once again fresh and ready to fight the beast, which he quickly kills.
The lizards return after the boss is downed. Surprised to see the two hunters still alive, the leader offers Jinhoo a deal, which he considers useful considering him responsible for the death of the spider: he will be able to officially join the group if he kills Jinwoo.
