We are anxiously anticipating the return of Solo Leveling and it appears that there are several potential projects in progress, according to a producer involved with the show.
Solo Leveling was undeniably one of the most popular shows of 2024, particularly when it comes to breakout hits. Its debut in January captivated viewers with its unique concept and intense battle scenes, solidifying its place as a DnD-like anime that quickly gained a devoted fanbase.
Currently, we are eagerly awaiting further updates on Solo Leveling Season 2. However, A-1 Pictures producer Atsushi Kaneko has assured us that there will be plenty more of Sung Jinwoo to look forward to.

“Preparations for a new wave of content are underway for Solo Leveling in July,”he announces. “The team of subordinates and creators working with me are incredibly talented, and I am eagerly anticipating your responses.”
It has been confirmed that Solo Leveling will have a presence at Anime Expo from July 4 to 7. There were already speculations about an upcoming season, but now it appears that we may have the opportunity to witness (or hear) even more.
Perhaps an anime movie or even another video game, such as Solo Leveling: Arise, could be in the works. There are endless possibilities, but given the success of the first season, it appears that A-1 Pictures is investing more into the franchise, which is well-deserved.
Despite the upcoming conclusion of Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia, and the gradual ending of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, the emergence of Solo Leveling serves as a reassuring reminder that anime’s popularity is not limited to specific franchises. Additionally, this year has also seen the strong reception of Haikyuu!!, Blue Lock, and Spy x Family.
There is not much time left until we find out what is in store for Sung Jinwoo.
