Kicking off this dangerous venture is Kim Chul, a self-assured and somewhat arrogant A-Rank hunter. He believes the best strategy is to segregate the strong from the weak, and naturally, Jinwoo—being an E-Rank—is classified as weak. Luckily, his companions benefit from his presence, while those unfortunate enough to remain with Kim Chul face dire circumstances.
Jinwoo’s New Army in Action
True to expectation, Jinwoo easily overcomes the initial enemies. For the first time, he harnesses his army of shadow soldiers against a horde of Ice Bears, with Igris delivering a spectacular decapitation of their leader. Jinwoo’s ability to control Igris highlights his remarkable fortune; even as his power grows, Igris’ strength remains unmatched.
As the episode progresses, Jinwoo’s ‘Arise’ ability proves overwhelmingly powerful. Each enemy he defeats bolsters his ranks, augmenting his shadow army not only with existing soldiers but also newly transformed Ice Bears ready to fight for him.

It becomes clear that the foes within pale in comparison to Dongsoo, who is plotting Jinwoo’s demise. Ultimately, the red gate is proving to be a temporary reprieve for Jinwoo, only postponing the inevitable confrontation.
