The highly anticipated second season of Solo Leveling, titled ‘Arise from the Shadow’, is set to debut in late 2024. The announcement was made by Crunchyroll on March 30, 2024, with a projected release window of October or November.
In an interview from January 2024, D&C Media, the publisher of the Solo Leveling webtoon, stated that this plan has been confirmed. However, it is important to note that delays are common in the production of anime, so it is necessary to keep an eye on any updates.
Solo Leveling Season 2 Plot
Following Sung Jinwoo’s transformation into the Shadow Monarch in Episode 12, the next episode of Solo Leveling will kick off the Red Gate Arc, comprising chapters 46 to 63. This arc introduces a new challenge as the dungeon becomes significantly harder once the gate closes behind the human explorers.
Based on the initial trailer, it is evident that the terrain is covered in snow and poses a threat. Originally intended as a practice mission for E-rank hunter Han Song-Yi, the Red Gate adds an extra level of challenge to the quest.
