The 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards Handprinting event was held on June 25th at Sangsang Platform in Jung-gu, Incheon. The event was attended by the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards winners.
The event that day was graced by many stars, including Song Hye-kyo who received the Daesang award, Ha Jung-woo and Suzy who were named “Best Male/Female Actor,” Yoo Jae-suk and Joo Hyun-young who were honored as “Best Male/Female Entertainer,” and Park Ji-hoon and Shin Ye-eun who were recognized as “Best New Male/Female Actor.” Dex and Kim Ah-young were also awarded as “Best New Male/Female Entertainer.”
In a special reunion, Song Hye-kyo, known for her role as Moon Dong-eun in Netflix’s original series “The Glory,”reunited with Shin Ye-eun and Lim Ji-yeon, who portrayed the bully Park Yeon-jin in the show. The trio also joined Joo Hyun-young, who starred in SNL’s “The Calories,”a parody of “The Glory”that gained widespread attention.
When asked by the MC how she felt about meeting Park Yeon-jin for the third time, Song Hye-kyo cheerfully replied, “I’m very scared,”which elicited laughter from the audience.
The 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards will hold its main awards ceremony on July 19th.
