On May 19, Han So-hee shared a video on her personal Instagram, filmed at the airport as she departed for the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in France. In her post, she expressed gratitude to her fans for warmly receiving her at the airport, stating, “Although it’s belated, I wanted to say thank you. I will return soon.”
Shortly after the post was published, it was observed that Song Hye-kyo liked it, showing her support. This suggests that Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee’s bond remains strong, despite the recent rumors surrounding Han So-hee’s love life.
Previously, Song Hye-kyo had not interacted or liked any of Han So-hee’s Instagram posts for several months, causing concern among their fans. However, this changed recently when the two finally interacted on social media, much to the delight of their fans.
Meanwhile, Han So-hee experienced a notable decrease in her number of followers following rumors of an affair with actor Ryu Jun-yeol. The situation arose when Ryu Jun-yeol’s former partner, Hyeri, shared a post with the words “Interesting”on the day it was announced that Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were in a relationship in Hawaii.
Despite Han So-hee attending Ryu Jun-yeol’s exhibition just two days after his breakup with Hyeri, photos of the two together went viral, sparking speculations of an affair. However, Han So-hee has since denied these rumors.
In real life, Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee share a close bond. The two actresses frequently show their support for each other’s projects and have warm interactions on social media. On one occasion, Song Hye-kyo went the extra mile by sending a coffee truck to the set where Han So-hee was filming, in order to cheer on her junior. Additionally, Song Hye-kyo paid a visit to Han So-hee’s home and even shared a video from her junior’s apartment on her personal social media account.
Despite the cancellation of their planned collaboration drama, “The Price of Confession”, last year, Han So-hee and Song Hye-kyo’s mutual admiration and hopes for a future project remain strong. After the project fell through, Song Hye-kyo sent a heartfelt message of encouragement to Han So-hee, and even expressed her desire to work with the younger actress in an interview with Sports Chosun. She praised Han So-hee as a lovely and talented actress, and expressed her curiosity about collaborating with a younger actress who embodies the current trends. While their initial plans may not have worked out, Song Hye-kyo remains optimistic about the possibility of another opportunity to work with Han So-hee in the future
