During their first encounter, Song Joong-ki arrived with a thoughtfully selected gift: “My wife suggested I bring this from Rome when she heard I was meeting you,” he shared. His sentiment reflected how he deeply misses his family, especially as they are currently in Rome while he is in Seoul for filming.

Choi Hwa-jung was curious about Katie’s culinary abilities, to which Song Joong-ki responded, “She’s similar to you in many ways. Even her plating and the preparation of water with lemon and basil remind me of you.” This demonstrates the close connections he’s drawing between his wife and Choi.
