On June 12th, Namoo Actors’ official YouTube channel released a new video showcasing actor Song Kang.
The video depicts Song Kang creating a cake in honor of the second anniversary of his devoted fan base, Songpyeon. It is well known that the actor recorded this footage prior to his enlistment in the military.
During the process of making the cake, Song Kang took the opportunity to answer a few questions. He shared that he has resumed learning English and expressed his desire to fulfill his dream of traveling to Europe for a month after completing his military service. He also mentioned his interest in learning about different cultures and how being able to speak English will enhance his ability to communicate with others.
Furthermore, Song Kang not only created a mood light as a special present for his fans to commemorate the second anniversary, but he also reflected on his growth since his early days as a rookie. Expressing his thoughts, he shared, “It’s been 8 years since I began my acting journey, and I have never felt more at ease. It’s like being in my own home. I am someone who easily loses interest in things, but acting has always been an exception. Recently, I came to the realization that it brings me a sense of vitality. That’s why I continue to pursue it relentlessly.”
Following the capture of a Polaroid photo with the mood light and the writing of a personal letter, he serenaded fans with a celebratory song, creating an intimate party-like atmosphere.
Lastly, before enlisting, Song Kang recorded a special bonus video to greet his fans. In the video, he shares, “Hello everyone! Every morning, I make sure to hit the gym and get a fresh haircut before heading to the salon for my enlistment.”
Upon arriving at the hair salon, the actor’s expression quickly turned to shock as he saw his freshly-cut hair. He exclaimed, “Do I really look like this?”Awkwardly, he reached up to touch his hair and said, “Well, I’ll make the best of it. Cutting my hair has definitely put me at ease.”With a smile, Song Kang bid farewell to his fans, saying, “I’m doing well. Goodbye for now.”
At the same time, Song Kang began his military service on April 2nd.
