Song Yoo Hyun Joins Cast of ‘Queen Woo’ Part 2: Excitement Grows for Her First Historical Drama Appearance

On September 11th, Hicon Entertainment announced that Song Yoo Hyun has been cast as “Yeo Jin” in the historical drama “Queen Woo” .

“Queen Woo” offers a gripping narrative inspired by the life of Queen Woo, showcasing a 24-hour power struggle that arises following the abrupt death of the king. This series stands out with its unique chase-action format.

In her role as Yeo Jin, Song Yoo Hyun takes on the duties of a nanny and bodyguard to Prince Yeon-u, played by Kang Young Seok. Her character is portrayed as devoted and nurturing, resembling a sunflower that solely focuses on the prince while continuously attending to his delicate disposition.

Since her debut in the 2008 play “Seoul Note” , Song Yoo Hyun has demonstrated her exceptional acting abilities across various dramas, including “Confession” , “Designated Survivor: 60 Days” , “Now, We Are Breaking Up” , and “Mother” .
