Sonic Launches Spooky New Shake Just in Time for Halloween

As spooky season approaches, fast food stores across the country are gearing up for pumpkin spiced everything – except for Sonic, which has decided to offer something different.

If pumpkin spice lattes aren’t your thing, you’ll be excited to hear that Sonic is introducing a fresh Witches’ Brew Slush Float that will give you a delightful chill (in a positive way).

According to a popular food blogger, a Sonic employee leaked information that the new drink will be launching on September 30.

The recently introduced beverage is a combination of slush, boba tea, and milkshake, resembling a Frankenstein monster mashup. Its vibrant green hue is perfect for adding a Halloween touch to your Instagram feed, but what exactly does it contain?

The beverage includes a slush with a green apple flavor and salted caramel popping boba. It is also served with a creamy soft-serve on top for an added touch.

These flavor notes are sure to transport you back to the Halloweens of your childhood, filled with candy apples.

Sonic has yet to announce the duration of the drink’s availability, but considering its spooky theme, we can anticipate it will remain in stores until at least October 31.

Markie Devo, a popular food blogger on Instagram, revealed the drink to his followers, causing excitement and anticipation among fans eager to try the new treat.

“Finally, something without pumpkin spice!”One individual expressed, evidently appreciative of Sonic’s unconventional approach.

Another person drew a comparison between this beverage and the popular slush float that came out during the solar eclipse, stating, “The one in purple for the solar eclipse a while ago was absolutely amazing!”

Despite the overall satisfaction with the witches’ brew, there were some individuals who expressed uncertainty about one particular ingredient: “It was almost perfect. But, I must admit, the boba flavor does give me pause.”

Another observer commented, “It’s intriguing, I can’t tell if it’s a positive or negative type of intrigue.”

There are more eerie releases that have us questioning whether they are a trick or a treat. Dairy Queen has also introduced their lineup of Fall blizzards, with the added bonus of being able to receive one for free.
