Sonic X Shadow Generations is set to launch on October 25, 2024, available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows.

The reveal trailer for Sonic X Shadow Generations was first unveiled during the February 1, 2024, State of Play. The trailer showcases the two versions of Sonic featured in the original Sonic Generations before dramatically introducing Shadow the Hedgehog.
Sonic X Shadow Generations Gameplay Details
As previously mentioned, Sonic X Shadow Generations is a remake of the classic Sonic Generations from 2011. The game will feature a combination of classic 2D and 3D levels, featuring both the modern Sonic and the iconic chunkier Sonic of the early ’90s.
What sets this remake apart is the significant inclusion of Shadow the Hedgehog. His prominent role aligns perfectly with his expected appearance in the forthcoming film, Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

In an exciting update, Shadow the Hedgehog will be voiced by Keanu Reeves in the upcoming Sonic 3 movie.
