We can all rejoice as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is almost here, thanks to the efforts of Saber Interactive. The marketing campaign has been in full swing, with a focus on the various weapons players can wield in Space Marine 2 to bring about justice. And now, we can also get a closer look at the game’s customization options.
Custom Armor Sets in Space Marine 2
Saber Interactive has verified that players have the option to either select pre-made armor sets designed for their particular class or mix and match pieces from various sets to create their own unique set for their individual class.
In the Armouring Hall, players have the ability to personalize the appearance of their helms, pauldrons, breastplates, wargear, gauntlets, and greaves. These options become available as players participate in various multiplayer modes.
Moreover, gamers are able to visit the “Astartes Chapters” section, which offers pre-made designs for various iconic Space Marine Chapters. This feature allows players to customize each component of the outfit using a variety of paints, insignias, and color schemes.
It is possible for players to personalize their Heretic Astartes characters for PvP battles. Each class is associated with a particular Traitor Legion, allowing for customization of colors and use of various emblems. However, it is not possible to mix and match armor set pieces.
In the Astartes Heraldry menu, players can obtain the distinctive customization elements of each Chapter from various categories including Adeptus Astartes, Heretic Astartes, Unknown Foundings, First Founding, Second Founding, and Successor Chapters. This allows for a wide range of unique options for players to choose from, totaling 523 characters.
Upon release, players can unlock the colors and heraldry of more than 30 unique Chapters through their progress in the game. However, certain Chapters are only accessible with the Season Pass.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be released on September 9, 2024 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are currently open for all platforms.
