Spectre Divide: Official Release Date for PC Announced

The closed beta for Spectre Divide was recently launched and we thoroughly enjoyed testing out the shooter game’s unique duality mechanics and sponsor system. Mountaintop Studios has officially announced the release date for Spectre Divide, as well as their launch plans.

Spectre Divide Release Date

Spectre Divide is set to release on September 3, 2024 as a free-to-play title exclusively for PC via Steam, with no additional charges.

The servers will go live at 9 AM PT on Tuesday, and the launch regions have been confirmed as follows:

  • US
  • EU
  • Asia Pacific
  • Australia

The option for ranked matchmaking will not be present during the game’s initial launch but will be introduced at a later date, just like it was in the closed beta. This will allow players ample time to become familiar with the game’s mechanics and unlock various sponsors in the early stages.

When the option becomes accessible, gamers will have the opportunity to advance in level as a Santai Champion either as part of a Team or as an individual Solo. The subsequent ranks will be made available once this mode is officially implemented.

Just like the closed beta, there will be a total of eight sponsors, with four of them becoming available right away.

  • Pinnacle International – Free
  • Morrgen United – Free
  • Bloom Technologies – Free
  • Ryker Industries – Free
  • Vector Dynamics
  • Ghostlink Collective
  • MUU Robotics
  • Umbra Reconnaissance

Players will have plenty to do by unlocking the remaining content, but they also have the option to purchase them with SP to instantly unlock all the items from each level of progression.

Upon release, players will have access to the following maps in Spectre Divide:

  • Metro
  • Mill
  • Skyway
  • Commons

Initially, the rotating store was not accessible during the closed beta. However, players will have the opportunity to buy bundles of weapon skins and outfits for both themselves and Spectre. This aspect of the game is entirely voluntary and does not include any pay-to-win elements or loot boxes.

We are eager to witness its performance in comparison to well-known games such as Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant. However, all of our gameplay experiences were well-developed and allowed for plenty of room to try new strategies.
