Speculation on G-Dragon’s Possible Guest Appearance at 2NE1 Concert Following Recent Hints

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is generating buzz with rumors about his potential appearance at 2NE1’s upcoming concert.

On September 7th, GD excited the K-pop community by sharing a photo from his collaboration with YG producer Choice37, hinting at his long-awaited solo comeback.

Adding to the intrigue, international pop superstar Pharrell Williams was also featured in the photo, sparking fan speculation that they are collaborating on new music for G-Dragon’s solo return.

However, confusion arose when CL announced her presence at the YG Entertainment studio. The 2NE1 member even posted a snapshot featuring Williams and GD, raising questions about the collaboration among the three artists.

Fans of BLACKJACKs (2NE1) and VIPs (BIGBANG) reminisced about YG’s “golden age”during the 2010s when CL and GD frequently collaborated. Their groups made history in 2009 with the hit song “Lollipop.”

As CL reunites with 2NE1 and G-Dragon gears up for his solo comeback later this year, anticipation from fans is surging, especially after the duo was spotted together in the studio.

Speculation among K-pop fans suggests that GD might make a special appearance at 2NE1’s reunion concert in October, given his strong connections with the group, particularly with CL and Dara.

The 2NE1 world tour will celebrate the group’s 15th anniversary, kicking off in Seoul from October 4th to 6th, followed by concerts in Kobe, Japan on November 29th to December 1st, and Tokyo from December 13th to 15th.

Even with a busy schedule, G-Dragon, known as the “King of K-pop,”continues to support his friends.

This was evident when he joined Daesung on stage during BIGBANG’s performance at Taeyang’s solo concert, “Taeyang 2024 Tour -The Light Year – in Seoul,”held at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park.
