Speculation on GTA 6’s Availability on Xbox Game Pass

Will GTA 6 be available on Xbox Game Pass?

At launch, GTA 6 will not be available on Xbox Game Pass. However, it may potentially be added to the subscription service in the future, even if it takes several years.

During a conversation with GamesIndustry.biz, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, provided insight into the matter.

The CEO clarified that the release of GTA 6 on Xbox Game Pass on its initial day will not be happening, as they predict it will have a negative effect on sales.

“According to Zelnick, providing a premium-priced frontline title on a subscription service on its day of release will encourage customers to subscribe to the service for a certain period of time.”

The CEO reassured that their decisions at Take-Two would remain rational and unaffected by the situation.

Although it was confirmed that GTA 6 will not be available on Xbox Game Pass upon its initial release, there is a possibility that it will be added at a later date, just like how GTA 5 was added to Game Pass.
