YGX Academy, the prestigious dance institution connected to YG Entertainment, declared its discontinuation of activities, causing confusion among fans and dancers.

The expectations of many were shattered on the evening of April 30th when YGX released their official announcement. The statement read,

“We regret to inform you that YGX Academy will end operations on April 30th, 2024. Thank you for your support”.

Despite having a reputation for offering exceptional choreography classes taught by experienced dancers who have worked with YG’s renowned roster of artists such as BIGBANG, BLACKPINK, iKON, and WINNER, the unexpected announcement of YGX Academy’s closure came as a surprise to fans.
