The official website for the anime has revealed the synopsis for Spirit Chronicles season 2 episode 1, titled “I Met You In This World.”In the finale of the previous season, Rio heroically saved Celia from her enforced marriage to Charles Arbor and encountered the six pillars of light.

Following Aishia’s guidance, Rio ventures to a new location and meets Sendo Aki, Masato, and Ayase Miharu, who is revealed to be Haruto Amakawa’s first love. Picking up immediately from the cliffhanger of the previous season, the first episode of season 2 will depict Rio magically constructing a rock house as a refuge for Celia and others.

According to the episode synopsis, Rio will share the “Legend of the Six Wise Gods,”a tale from the Strahl region, during their mealtime discussions with Celia, Sendo, Masato, and Ayase. This marks the dawn of a new adventure for Rio in the sequel.

It will be fascinating to see how the narrative diverges from the source material, especially considering the previous season’s significant changes. Besides Rio and Celia, the premiere is also likely to introduce major antagonists intent on disrupting Rio’s journey.
