A Star Born into a Talented Family

Chae Gook-hee, who was born in 1970, is the younger sibling of actress Chae Si-ra (born in 1968). The sisters once shared the spotlight in a popular beverage commercial, showcasing their familial bond within the entertainment industry.

Romance and Collaborations

Her personal life has also garnered attention, particularly her relationship with actor Oh Dal-su. The pair developed a close connection while performing in the play Marijuana in 2008, which blossomed further while filming The Thieves in 2012. They publicly acknowledged their romantic involvement in 2016 and were frequently seen together on dates.

However, the couple’s relationship faced challenges over the years. In 2018, as they prepared for the release of Detective K: Secret of the Living Dead, Oh Dal-su deflected questions about marriage during an interview, opting for a vague “No comment.” Shortly thereafter, they confirmed their separation.
