The timing of this launch aligns perfectly with the upcoming premiere of Squid Game’s second season set for later this year. This limited-edition frozen yogurt presents a delightful ‘tug of war’ between the sweet notes of matcha and its striking black appearance.
Launched on October 16, this eye-catching dessert is perfectly aligned with the Halloween festivities, as indulging in it will instantly turn your tongue black. The dark matcha flavor offers a bold and unique taste sensation.
In celebration of the arrival of this intriguing flavor, 16 Handles is inviting customers to engage in various fun challenges to win prizes and rewards.
According to 16 Handles’ Instagram, the following challenges are available:
- Black Tongue Challenge: Head to your nearest 16 Handles outlet to try the Squid Ink Black Matcha Frozen Yogurt. Capture a selfie with the Squid Ink Instagram Filter and tag @16Handles in your story. All participants will earn 10 points in the 16 Handles app and be entered for a chance to win a $250 Visa Gift Card. Submissions are open from 10/16 to 10/31.
- Dalgona Cookie Challenge: Create a selfie video using the 16 Handles Dalgona Cookie Challenge Filter to see which special cookie you are paired with. Tag @16Handles in your story and share with your followers if it was an accurate match! Each entry earns 10 points in the app and the opportunity to win a $250 Visa Gift Card, valid from 10/25 to 10/29.
- Tug Of War Showdown: Participate by voting for your preferred flavor and toppings in a froyo tug-of-war featured on the @16Handles Instagram story. From 10/22 to 10/31, the brand will host polls daily, and any votes for the winning options will accumulate points, redeemable for cash discounts through the 16 Handles app.
