“Squid Games 2” Actor Facing Rape Accusations, Allegedly Close to BTS’s RM

The lead actor of “Squid Games 2″is currently facing severe backlash due to a previous allegation of sexual assault.

Lee Jin-wook, the actor currently appearing in the 2nd season of Netflix’s “Squid Games”, has garnered attention on international social media for a disturbing allegation – he has been accused of sexual assault in the past.

The SNS post, which has gained over 1.3 million views and 12 thousand likes, specifically highlighted that Lee Jin-wook faced a lawsuit for rape in 2016.

At the time, the court ruled in favor of Lee Jin-wook based on South Korea’s legal perspective that lack of consent does not equal rape. However, Lee Jin-wook’s team did not dispute the lack of consent, and the court acknowledged that the actor did not seek the woman’s consent nor did she give it.

In two separate instances, Lee Jin-wook took legal action against the woman for defamation. However, in one case, a judge found the woman not guilty due to lack of consent and it was determined that she did not have any intention of receiving money from Lee Jin-wook. In another case, a different judge ruled the woman guilty due to insufficient evidence.

The news of this allegation shocked netizens, particularly due to the fact that Lee Jin-wook was identified as a close acquaintance of BTS’s RM. The two had even met in private, with RM sharing photos of them together on his Instagram story.

In addition, they are urging people to refrain from engaging in any projects involving Lee Jin-wook.
