Staff Responds to “Rage Baiters” Alleging Nick Fuentes & Sneako Endorsements

Kick staff have dismissed allegations regarding the platform’s signing of contentious personalities Nick Fuentes and Sneako.

Since its inception, Kick has attracted some of the most prominent creators in the digital space, notable for securing a staggering $100M contract with Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel.

Alongside xQc, the platform has also negotiated deals with other big names such as Amouranth, NICKMERCS, and chess grandmaster GM Hikaru. However, in recent months, the pace of new contracts being finalized has noticeably slowed.

Instead, Kick has emphasized the concept of multistreaming, encouraging creators to engage with multiple platforms simultaneously as a strategy for audience expansion.

This, however, hasn’t quelled the speculation surrounding potential new signings. Earlier in October, after reports revealed that Haliey Welch, known as the ‘Hawk Tuah girl,’ joined Kick, the CEO, Ed Craven, was compelled to clarify that claims she signed a $5M deal were unfounded.

Currently, two fresh rumors have emerged, spurred by viral posts on social media that suggest political commentator Nick Fuentes and Sneako may have inked contracts with Kick.

Both individuals have stirred significant controversy over the years with their divisive viewpoints, leading to considerable uproar online following the circulation of rumors about their supposed contracts.

Nevertheless, journalist Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau has reported that these claims are false. He stated, “Kick did not sign Nick Fuentes or Sneako; they are free to register and stream like anyone else.”

Andrew Santamaria, Kick’s Head of Strategic Partnerships, has also called out those spreading the rumors, suggesting they are intent on stirring conflict.

“This is accurate,” he affirmed, reaffirming Slasher’s findings. “Anyone else making contrary statements is engaging in rage baiting.”

These speculations follow an incident where disgraced creator Dr Disrespect announced that he would choose to “retire” rather than stream on Kick. This prompted Adin Ross to elaborate on how Doc was nearing a deal with the platform until his Twitch ban’s motivation came to light, which led Kick to withdraw their offer due to his salary requests.
