Following the delay of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Ubisoft is moving ahead with fresh content for Star Wars Outlaws, officially announcing the release date for the highly anticipated Lando Calrissian Story Pack DLC.
This exciting chapter places Kay Vess right in the center of a thrilling Sabacc tournament, where she must skillfully navigate the devious realm of galactic gamblers.
However, when she encounters the notorious Lando Calrissian, Kay realizes the true stakes reach far beyond the tournament’s boundaries.
1. Star Wars Outlaws Wild Card DLC Announced
Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws is set to launch its first post-launch story DLC titled ‘Wild Card’ on November 21 across all platforms, including PC via Steam. This initial story pack will follow Kay Vess as she infiltrates a high-stakes Sabacc tournament while unraveling a larger conspiracy orchestrated by Lando Calrissian. Additionally, a second story pack titled ‘A Pirate’s Fortune’ is planned for Spring 2025.
Players who own the Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass will gain access to two exclusive cosmetic bundles (Hunter’s Legacy and Cartel Ronin) with the launch of the DLC. Furthermore, all players can look forward to free contracts and several game updates, including optimizations, gameplay adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements.
2. Star Wars Outlaws Game Updates
The release of Star Wars Outlaws was initially met with mixed reviews, primarily due to performance issues and gameplay flaws, which included subpar stealth mechanics, combat challenges, and frustrating instant-fail missions. Following the underwhelming sales after launch, Ubisoft is reassessing its strategy, canceling same-day Steam releases and postponing Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
