Stardew Valley meets Baldur’s Gate 3 characters in new exciting mod

Have you ever considered the possibility of pursuing a romantic relationship with Astarion in Stardew Valley? With this specific mod, it is now a possibility.

According to a tweet from X, a group of three individuals is presently collaborating to incorporate characters and a map from Baldur’s Gate 3 into the charming life simulation of Stardew Valley.

Despite the lack of an official release date, viewers have already been given a sneak peek of the mod through a few images, which include intricate pixel art of various characters.

As per fan artist Xun, who is working on the Baldur’s Gate 3 project, “Baldur’s Village”intends to introduce Astarion, Shadowheart, Gale, and Halsin into Stardew Valley. The addition of Rolan has also been confirmed in a separate reply.

Despite being a small team of amateurs, Astarion is the only character available for romance with a unique plot. The completion of this project may take some time, but the team is determined to make more characters available for dating if possible.

Additionally, they have provided updates on the progress they have made thus far, which is outlined below:

  • An independent map of Baldur’s Village
  • 4 different styles of buildings
  • Artwork of Astarion, Shadowheart, and Gale

“They mentioned that at present, their team consists of three individuals who handle art, coding, and script. They also stated that they will be consistently updating their progress on various platforms.”

Their intention is to unveil the initial portion of the content on Nexus prior to Baldur’s Gate 3’s first anniversary.

Despite this, Xun mentioned in a separate post that they are seeking the assistance of translators. This is due to the fact that the team is composed of both simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese speakers, which presents a difficulty in accurately conveying the lines in other languages.

Individuals eager to test out this mod when it becomes available will need to remain patient for the time being, particularly since the development is being managed by a limited team. Thankfully, there are plenty of other mods to experiment with in the meantime to add variety to your Stardew Valley experience.
