Using an explosive canister, a Starfield player used his “easy bake”method to instantly scare away a group of pirates.
The leitmotif of Starfield “play the way you want” gives players a lot of freedom in their approach to the story and the gameplay. But no matter the approach, one can rarely escape killing enemies. Certain weapons and skills help in this regard, but explosives tend to do the trick.
And recently, one user recently put Starfield’s explosive abilities to the test in a brief fight against space pirates.
Starfield Player ‘Instantly Cooks’ Enemies With Explosive Canister
Reddit user u/RandyArgonianButler shared a clip showing his method for “easy baking”in Starfield. The method itself is rather simple.
In the video, the player picked up an explosive canister and waited for an enemy ship to land nearby. Once the ship’s door was opened and a group of pirates were eager to get out, the player threw the canister inside and fired a shot.
The canister quickly exploded and took out all enemies in seconds. Needless to say, the door quickly closed and the ship took off towards the stars.
Other Starfield players were more than impressed by the explosive canister’s exploits. One person joked that the pirates were “cooked instantly.”Another commented: “Now cook with gas!” “.
However, there are downsides to doing this, as several people have pointed out. Most notable is that this easy baking trick doesn’t allow players to loot cooked enemies, or even their ship. One player explained: “No loot method. Killing just isn’t fun without the looting of the corpse afterwards.”
Starfieldplayers who choose to board enemy ships with explosives must weigh the pros and cons. But it seems like a sure way to get rid of the bad guys quickly.
