Steamy Baldur’s Gate 3 Stats Reveal Popularity of Surprising Romance Option

A year after its release, Larian has revealed the latest statistics for Baldur’s Gate 3, including the most popular romance options, classes, endings, and other details.

Larian has been consistently sharing Baldur’s Gate 3 statistics with the community, demonstrating their familiarity with doing so. Since the game was released last year, the studio has been closely monitoring the decisions made by players, including the frequency with which they utilize a wheel of cheese.

To celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary, players can now access the latest statistics, which showcase the most commonly chosen classes, races, endings, and even romance options.

According to a post on X, it was revealed that 1.1 million players chose to romance the Emperor, while only 658,000 chose to romance Halsin. This may come as a surprise, as the majority of players have deemed the Emperor to be a selfish and manipulative Mind Flayer.

It was not just Larian who revealed this information. It appears that there are other players who are aware of the Emperor’s intentions, but still choose to pursue a romantic relationship with him in his true form, rather than with Halsin.

According to Larian, 37% of individuals have reported experiencing the sensory pleasure of mind flayer tentacles. Halsin’s bear form, on the other hand, accounts for 30%. Despite this, the community still has some unresolved matters to address.

Interestingly, despite the situation with the Emperor’s romance stats, Larian also disclosed that a larger number of players ultimately end up betraying him.

In one of the endings that was widely mentioned, 1.8 million players chose to not align themselves with the Emperor, ultimately betraying him after having protected players since the start.

This information is supported by the stats, which show that 329,000 players ultimately convinced Orpheus to live as a Mind Flayer. This suggests that the Emperor’s decision to join the brain was a result of your betrayal.

In addition to these, there are a few intriguing statistics that may not be common knowledge among players. One such statistic involves a specific ending that is exceedingly rare, with only 34 players having achieved it.
