In the Wuthering Waves quest titled From the Echoes of Destruction, your objective is to clear the corrupted data and navigate to the lower level of the building. Successfully doing this will unlock the underground section of Tethys’ Deep. If you are experiencing difficulties with this quest, follow the detailed steps below.
How to Clear the Corrupted Data and Access the Lower Level in Wuthering Waves – From the Echoes of Destruction
At the initial stage of the puzzle, your primary task is to acquire the key to the cell office. However, it is obstructed by a wall that cannot be bypassed. On the opposite side of this wall, you will discover a door that is blocked by cells. Target and attack the door using Normal Attack to prepare for future access.
Since passing through the wall is not an option, head towards the center of the room where you will locate another door. Enter this door to conveniently access the other side of the wall, where the key is hidden.
Upon entering, you will find yourself in the room that is obstructed by the wall. Levitate the key by pressing the T button on PC, which will trigger a brief cutscene that illustrates the wall being blocked by corrupted data cells.
Wait for KU-Yoyo to approach from the other side of the blocked wall. When the robot gets close enough, interact with it to receive instructions and trigger another small cutscene.
Your next task is to eliminate the corrupted data. Approach the corrupted core and press and hold the Q button to utilize the robot’s ability to destroy it.
After successfully destroying the corrupted cells, the door you opened earlier will now be accessible. If you did not unblock this door at the start, you can do so now with the same method.
Upon entering the room, you’ll immediately notice a switch on the ground. Place the key on the switch using a Normal Attack. This action will activate a mechanism connected to the switch through the same electrical line. Interact with the mechanism to enable the Data Wall.
This section can be somewhat perplexing—even I found myself stuck for a bit! After activating the Data Wall, your next assignment is to clear the corrupted data. However, the data core is positioned too far for the robot’s ability to reach. To overcome this challenge, you must continuously attack the white cells behind the data core using Normal Attacks to trigger their breakage.
Once the cells are shattered, head to the door at the center of the room to find the data core now visible beyond it. Press and hold the Q key to use the robot’s ability to destroy the data core, effectively eliminating the corrupted data nearby. After that, enter the door to proceed to the next room.
In the next room, there are two tasks to complete:
- Loot the Advanced Supply Chest, which will unlock the door in front of it. It is advisable to loot chests immediately instead of saving them for later, as returning to this area after completing the quest may be challenging.
- Levitate (T button) the diamond-shaped key.
After completing both tasks, proceed through the newly opened door.
Once inside the new room, throw the key onto the switch on the ground using a Normal Attack. This will initiate dialogue with the Shorekeeper, thus completing your objective.
