SteveWillDoIt is expressing his frustration with YouTube following the permanent banning of his account, which he claims has hindered his passion for content creation. The controversy stems from the platform’s apparent tolerance for the NELK Boys, who are continuously promoting gambling in their videos.
In 2022, YouTube took the drastic step of permabanning Deleonardis’ account, citing violations of community guidelines after he inadvertently displayed the website URL for Stake while promoting his secondary channel. Nearly three years later, Steve remains vocally critical of YouTube, suggesting that the ban has significantly altered his outlook on life.
SteveWillDoIt’s Outcry Against YouTube
On January 14, 2025, Steve took to social media to voice his concerns, highlighting an apparent double standard where NELK is allowed to advertise Stake without repercussions while he faced a permanent ban for a minor error.
In a candid conversation within the ‘Steve Will Do It Loyals’ community on X, he shared an emotional reflection on how the ban affected his creativity and motivation:
Sorry no content. To be completely honest it’s just I don’t feel creative / I really don’t wanna be on camera. I guess I’m a bitch because when my YouTube was taken from me. . it changed me man. I don’t feel good. I have so much more money right now because I don’t spend it all…

Despite his financial success, Steve admitted that he would prefer to create YouTube content over having a large bank account. “I’d rather make YouTube videos and have 0 dollars and have to actually work hard versus having millions of dollars and not making videos,”he stated. “I’m not lazy at all for real. I’m just not passionate about anything right now when it comes to content.”
Deleonardis expressed disbelief regarding the latitude granted to NELK, who continue to include advertisement segments for Stake in their videos without issue. In a follow-up tweet, he mentioned:
It’s also a mind fuck getting banned for an editor error on https://t.co/smxNQEshZj then the following nelk video nelk has a 1 minute stake advertisement in the beginning of the video lol like what. I can’t be in nelk or have a YouTube but nelk is allowed to do a min stake…

He criticized the uneven treatment he received compared to others, likening his circumstance to the fallout faced by disgraced figures like Diddy or infamous criminals such as Jeffrey Dahmer, which emphasizes how deeply the banning has impacted his reputation and mental state.
Steve’s experience is not unique in the YouTube ecosystem, as many creators have faced sudden account bans. For instance, Twitch star Amouranth had her account removed in August due to claims of “sexual content”after she asserted she was merely painting a microphone with a brush.
As discussions around platform fairness and accountability intensify, SteveWillDoIt’s grievances may resonate with many in the creator community advocating for more transparent content moderation practices.
