Set in 1975 on an oil rig off the coast of Scotland, Still Wakes the Deep follows the story of Caz McLeary. As he tries to unravel the mystery of his crewmates’ deaths, he must confront an unfathomable terror lurking on the rig.
This game is centered around a psychological horror story, where your only means of survival is your intelligence. You must use your wits to evade an unknown creature, navigate through collapsing tunnels, and escape a sinking rig. The ocean itself will also pose a threat as it tears apart the structure you are trapped on during your escape.
According to its Steam page, this first-person game has a relatively short run time of around six hours. The main objective is to navigate an ever-changing oil rig as you progress through the story.
Without any weapons or powers, players must rely on sneaking and diversion tactics to successfully evade the terrifying nightmare they are attempting to flee from.
