A woman became an internet sensation on TikTok when her prosthetic arm accidentally flew off while she was mid-swing at Top Golf.
Inaugurated in 2000, Top Golf has offered golf enthusiasts a fenced-off location to practice their swing. By tracking the balls, the distance can be determined and relayed back to the player after each hit.
In June, TikToker Marincarterr visited the business for the first time and shared a video of herself swinging while her prosthetic arm remained attached.
Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when her arm unexpectedly flew off and landed in the field. This led her to ask an employee to retrieve her prosthetic.
“She captioned the video of the employee picking up the lost arm, which fell off during her top golf hit with her prosthetic arm.”
Regrettably, Marin’s arm was fractured at the point where it connects to her body after the fall. The video gained rapid popularity, accumulating almost 5 million views.
@marincarterr yall ever seen an arm fly
Many viewers rushed to the comments section to express their thoughts on the incident and even shared a few jokes about it.
One user remarked that Top Golf is now quite expensive.
Another individual chimed in, stating, “Let’s at least lend her a hand, she had a great swing.”
“I cannot fathom the expression on the workers’ faces when you informed them that you needed to retrieve your arm,”a third person stated.
The latest video to become popular on TikTok is about a bride who shared her experience being deceived by her wedding venue. On June 25, she uploaded a video claiming that she was “catfished”when she arrived at the location and found all the plants covered in netting, despite them being the main highlight of the venue.
In May, Calloway replaced a set of golf clubs worth $3,000 for a man whose house was destroyed by a tornado and had expressed concern about them on social media, leading to his post going viral.
