The Homo Fulquilo tends to use repetitive strategies. When it activates its Fury ability, you’ll receive a warning indicating that all characters in the front row will be targeted.

This Fury ability requires a full turn to charge, after which it will deal damage to all frontline characters. Since damage impacts each target individually, it’s important to assign one character to absorb most of the damage while the rest focus on attacking the Homo Fulquilo. If all characters remain on the front line, you’ll find yourself constantly healing rather than dealing decisive blows.

An effective approach is to position just one player in the front row. To do this, shift the remaining characters to the back by pressing the D-Pad down during the turn of the frontline character. Ideally, place a sturdy character like a Warrior in the front.

With one character taking the hits in front, you’ll find that even an optimal setup requires further strategy and preparation to prevail against the Homo Fulquilo, especially if you’ve bypassed some earlier battles.

Homo Fulquilo is particularly vulnerable to Ice attacks. However, most characters won’t start with the basic Blizz spell for ice damage unless you’ve altered their archetype to Mage and upgraded it to at least level 2. Nonetheless, triumph is achievable even without this spell.

Throughout the battle, it’s key to have one character absorb the entirety of the Fury damage as another character focuses on healing. If you’ve kept the Seeker archetype (the protagonist’s starting class), you’ll possess the Dei spell, allowing you to sustain your tank during the encounter.

Maximize your damage output while strategically using Dei to heal your frontline defender when the Fury ability strikes. If Homo Fulquilo manages to hit your entire team, you may need to adapt your strategy to be more defensive, possibly utilizing healing potions for quicker recovery.

When the boss activates Fury, the fight becomes markedly more manageable, as you’ll gain a turn to strategize while only one character suffers damage, which can then be healed with Dei. It’s also advisable to use the Guard action for your frontline character to lessen incoming damage, as this can prevent the need for excessive healing.
