Strategies to Overcome the Oblivion Skeleton Commander in Throne and Liberty

Struggling against a boss can be frustrating, especially if you find yourself fighting them repeatedly. That’s why this guide will provide you with essential tips on defeating the Oblivion Skeleton Commander in Throne and Liberty. While this boss isn’t the toughest challenge, it can pose significant difficulty if you’re unprepared.

How to Defeat the Oblivion Skeleton Commander in Throne and Liberty

You’ll encounter the Oblivion Skeleton Commander on level 10 of Taedal’s Tower. There isn’t a specific gear setup we recommend, as he doesn’t exhibit particular weaknesses. However, it’s crucial to stock up on food to boost your stats before the battle, enhancing both your heat and critical hit rate. Be sure to bring along some mana potions as well.

Once the battle begins, immediately start attacking the boss. Continue your assault on the Skeleton until one of your strikes gets blocked. When you see this, prepare yourself because the Skeleton Commander will execute a dodge attack. The best strategy to evade this is to jump at the right moment; with good timing, you’ll come out unscathed.

After the initial dodge attack, maintain your distance and continue jumping and dodging—essentially, stay mobile. If you choose to attack from afar, be aware that the skeleton may launch more dodge attacks unexpectedly. Keeping a safe distance will give you the necessary time to avoid his strikes.

Occasionally, the Skeleton will perform a ground pound attack, often executing two in succession. Maintain your distance and make sure to jump as soon as he makes contact with the ground. Keep moving and block any projectiles whenever possible.

Once the Skeleton loses a substantial amount of health, he’ll take a brief pause. This is your opportunity to create space, as the dodge attack that follows can be incredibly deadly—potentially a one-hit kill if you lack sufficient strength. After dodging this attack, return to your offensive strategy, while also blocking and countering his projectiles.

By mastering the timing and movement required, the Skeleton Commander should no longer be a significant threat. Defeating him will yield valuable rewards, including a precious weapon Growthstone, an armor Growthstone, an accessory Growthstone, and a rare recovery crystal.

That concludes our guide on how to defeat the Oblivion Skeleton Commander in Throne and Liberty. For additional game tips, we also provide articles on how to add friends and how to create guild bases.
