Despite facing racial discrimination, Stray Kids’ Bang Chan demonstrated his maturity and proved to be a dependable leader at the 2024 Met Gala.
On May 6, 2024, Stray Kids made headlines as the first-ever K-pop group to receive an invitation to the highly esteemed Met Gala. All eight members – Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N – graced the event with their presence, dressed to impress in regal ensembles designed by Tommy Hilfiger.

As videos of the racist incident began to circulate, it was natural for many to feel upset that the attendees had to endure such an experience during their first Met Gala.
