The Stray Kids members are garnering attention for their skin at the 2024 Met Gala.

Despite idols being known for their strict skincare regimen in order to achieve flawless skin on stage, certain Korean media sources have taken it upon themselves to edit the skin of idols to appear even smoother and more flawless. Fansite masters also follow suit, and some have even resorted to lightening the skin of their idols.

On the other hand, Western journalists and paparazzi do not fall under this category.

On May 7, 2024, a well-known South Korean online community forum, Instiz, shared a post titled “Wow, it seems like foreigners do not retouch their skin at all.”Furthermore, another post titled “Stray Kids’ skin under Getty’s naked eye”was also shared on the same platform.

The original poster shared unedited photos of each Stray Kid member on both posts. In contrast to Korean media outlets, which often edit people’s skin to appear flawless, the photos from the 2024 Met Gala showed the clear texture of each member’s skin.

Despite the visible pores and heavy make-up, it was evident from Felix’s freckles in the photos that the members had flawless skin, highlighting their natural beauty.

Despite the fact that the photos were not edited, numerous individuals noted that the eight members had good skin. Many admitted to feeling envious of their flawless skin and commended them for their handsome appearance at the event.
