Streamer Asmongold Reacts to Emiru’s Description of His ‘Mildew’ Odor on Stream

Asmongold was taken aback as he found himself having to defend his scent once more, as Emiru accused him of smelling like “mildew.”

Asmongold is a highly sought-after streamer on Twitch; with 3.5 million followers, the content creator is widely recognized in the world of video games.

Despite this, Asmon has gained a reputation for his living conditions. His house is notoriously filthy, so much so that even his father has teased him about it. As a result of his online presence, he is known for having a particular odor.

Despite not all content included in the 41 million posts under the Asmongold Stinks tag directly addressing the content creator’s smell, the subject remains an integral part of his persona on TikTok.

Emily-Beth Schunk, also known by her professional name Emiru, addressed the aforementioned claims during her most recent stream. She had previously collaborated with Asmon on numerous occasions.

At first, she hesitated to say anything more as she didn’t want to come across as impolite, but Emiru was not unpleasant smelling in her opinion and reminded her of “mildew.”

Mildew is frequently associated with the presence and musty smell of mold and is commonly found in older homes or areas with high levels of moisture.

It was evident that Asmongold was taken aback upon hearing Emiru’s clip while streaming on his own channel. However, he promptly dismissed her implications after listening to her remarks.

Asmon reassured, “Firstly, dust does not have a smell, so I do not smell like anything. I definitely do not smell like Grandma’s attic.”

However, Asmon immediately became defensive when his odor was described as similar to mildew, attributing it to the “house”rather than himself and firmly standing by his belief that he does not have a bad smell.

After Emiru made these claims, fans wasted no time in resuming their teasing of Asmon, playfully suggesting that he has the scent of a “mummy.”
