Streamer Discovers Another Moldy Lunchly While Attempting to Prove It’s Not Moldy

Twitch streamer aSpicyCow recently uncovered moldy cheese in their purchased Lunchly after obtaining 22 boxes to demonstrate that they were free from mold.

In September, Logan Paul, KSI, and MrBeast collaborated to launch Lunchly, which faced immediate criticism regarding its health standards.

While recording a YouTube video to compare Lunchly with Lunchables, Rosanna Pansino expressed her disgust upon discovering mold on the cheese in her pizza Lunchly. This revelation led some viewers to accuse her of fabricating the discovery, prompting the YouTuber to share an unedited version of her video, showcasing her unboxing of the product.

Doubting the initial reports, Twitch streamer aSpicyCow aimed to validate the claims by purchasing 22 boxes of the pizza variant of Lunchly to unbox live during a stream. To their shock, the very last box contained moldy cheese.

“Unfortunately, on our 22nd Lunchly, we indeed found mold inside a sealed package,” they expressed.

The clip of their discovery quickly circulated across social media, and the streamer elaborated on their motivations for conducting the test.

“The main reason I undertook this investigation was that I found the original source dubious, as she appeared biased against MrBeast. Therefore, I sought clarity and decided to buy every Lunchly I could locate,” they said. “I didn’t anticipate finding mold, but that’s exactly what happened.”

Since Rosanna Pansino initially reported finding mold in her Lunchly, numerous others have also discovered similar problems and voiced their experiences on social media.

There is ongoing speculation regarding a possible issue with the adhesive on the plastic seal above the food, as several individuals have identified gaps in the glue near the cheese compartment.

“All Lunchly products undergo a rigorous review process to guarantee the quality and safety of what we provide,” they stated. “This extensive process includes several inspections and approvals, including those by the USDA, before any item is allowed to depart from the manufacturing facility.”
