Streamer Mellstroy Accused of Bribing Fans at Champions League Final

Belarusian streamer ‘Mellstroy’ appears to be the cause of multiple spectators storming the field at the Champions League final on June 1, as they offered a highly coveted prize.

All attention was on Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid as they faced off at Wembley Stadium, with only one of the teams ultimately being crowned European Champions.

Despite starting only 30 seconds ago, the match was abruptly interrupted when a group of people invaded the pitch. One person, wearing a shirt with the bold text “Mellstroy”and advertisements for his Kick Stream, was among the intruders.

The Kick streamer, who is 25 years old and has a following of over 470,000 on the livestreaming platform, allegedly promised his fans a staggering $350k to be the first one on the pitch. However, it is uncertain if he plans on fulfilling this offer.

Despite the pitch invasion, Mellstroy has not yet gone live or responded. However, they did retweet a photo of a fan taking a selfie with Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr.

After a brief pause, three individuals were promptly taken off the turf and the game resumed swiftly.

At half-time, it was announced that the pitch invaders had been apprehended, and a Wembley representative strongly denounced their actions. Spectators were also reminded that entering the field is a violation of the law.

Furthermore, Kick has prohibited Mellstroy from their platform and his channel is currently inaccessible. The duration of the ban is unknown, and Mellstroy has not addressed the situation since it happened.

This is not the first instance where a Kick streamer has offered a reward for someone to rush the stage during a tournament. There has been an ongoing rivalry between CSGO Empire and CSGORoll, which led to the trophy being destroyed at the Copenhagen PGL Major in Counter Strike 2.
